“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.“

-Mark 5:25-28

The woman in our text was sick beyond the aid of doctors, but was healed by the power of God. Her miracle began with her words; she said, “If I touch Him, I will be healed.” She knew by divine instinct that her words were important. God put power in words. He created the world with words, and He put within man a dominion nature to exercise authority through words. When this woman spoke God’s answer for her problem, God responded to her with a miraculous deliverance.

Many times in my walk with God the circumstances of life seemed impossible. I prayed, I fasted, and I judged myself every way I knew how to. The only “manifestation” I had was Satan’s hot breath on the back of my neck, as he said to me, “You’re not going to make it.” As I spoke God’s Word into the situation change began, and God has seen me through every time.

God responds to words that agree with His words. Get into the habit of speaking what the Word of God says about your circumstances. Put God’s Word to work for you!
